About MathsBoost

Daily maths practice that actually gets done

MathsBoost is a web-based maths practice tool for Australian students from Years 3 to 12. It is built for families who want useful revision without long worksheets, homework battles or a parent needing to become the tutor every night.

What it does

Parents choose a year level, difficulty and mathematics strand. Students answer a short set, get instant feedback, review worked steps and return to missed questions later in their mistake book.

Why only 5 questions?

Because consistency beats intensity. Five questions a day for 100 days is usually more useful than 100 questions once. A five-question set is long enough to reveal misunderstandings but short enough to repeat consistently.

What happens when a student is stuck?

Students can use hints, worked feedback and AI explanations to understand the next step. The goal is not to skip thinking; it is to make the first wrong step visible so the next attempt is better.

Who it is for

MathsBoost is designed for parents and students who want extra practice across Number, Algebra, Measurement, Space, Statistics and Probability. It works best as a short daily habit alongside classroom learning.

What makes it parent-friendly

The parent view keeps setup simple: choose a year level, choose a strand and generate practice. The student view keeps the flow focused on one question at a time, with a submit step before moving forward.
